First & Last Men
Publishing company, Orion needed new jackets for their Science Fiction books. Here, I have redesigned First & Last Men by Olaf Stapeldon. I scanned in my own hands to create a tactile looking surface and then overlayed it with a light wireframe style grid.
The combination of the human and the structural computer generated lines gives the idea of the essence of the science fiction genre. The type was all created by hand in a cut out style and stacked in an architectural block on top of the image.
