Eric Gill Biography
Book cover design using traditional linocut printing. The concept is based on stonemason and icon, Eric Gill's lesser known personal life, much of which is fraught with controversy. The image portrays Gill standing on a ladder and the view from below is up his robes. This is what passers by would often see as Gill would carve stone on high buildings and allegedly he would not wear any underwear. This made for an amusing and enticing image for an unconventional biography.
