Packaging a Designer
A packaging project to celebrate the work of London based designer, Marie O'Connor. The piece features a stop motion animation short of a day in the life of O'Connor.
In her work, she uses objects such as buttons and pins along with scraps of paper to create characters and scenes. The packaging is based on the 'Origarment' shoe that O'Connor created, which zips up from a flat piece to make a shoe. Everything is hand made and forms a limited edition piece that would be mailed out to design enthusiasts.
